Proposed Amendments to the Municipal Code regarding unit lot subdivisions, childcare centers, co-living housing, manufactured housing, residential parking, and development regulations pertaining to conversion of existing buildings for housing.

Notice is hereby given that the City of East Wenatchee intends to adopt amendments to the East Wenatchee Municipal Code. The proposed amendments were transmitted to the Washington State Department of Commerce on September 24, 2025, in accordance with RCW 36.70A.106.

Comment Period
The 60-day state agency comment period commenced on September 24, 2025 and is set to conclude on November 24, 2025.
The City has issued a State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Determination of Nonsignificance (DNS) in accordance with WAC 197-11-340(2) on September 24, 2025. Comments on the SEPA determination must be submitted by November 24, 2025.
Proposed amendments will be considered at a public hearing of the East Wenatchee Planning Commission, anticipated in December 2025. A notice of the specific date and time for the public hearing will be issued in accordance with EWMC 19.04.
